If you've been researching paint protection, you've heard of ceramic coating. You may not have heard of SkyGloss — because until now, nobody in Ranchi has offered it. JH Performance Studio is the only certified SkyGloss applicator in the region.
This isn't just another product name for the same thing. SkyGloss Fusion is a genuinely different technology — and understanding the difference helps you make the right decision for your car.
Ceramic Coats. SkyGloss Rebuilds.
The simplest way to understand the difference is this:
Your car's factory clearcoat is typically 40–60 microns thick. Every paint correction, every polish, every machine buff removes microns of clearcoat permanently. After enough corrections over years of ownership, the clearcoat becomes dangerously thin. At that point, adding another coating on top of thin clearcoat is treating the symptom, not the cause.
SkyGloss Fusion's Clearcoat Fusion Technology works by penetrating into the existing clearcoat and depositing new resin material within it — literally building the clearcoat back up toward factory thickness. The paint finish stays Factory Forever. That's SkyGloss's stated mission, and it's not marketing language — it's the functional difference in how the product works.
SkyGloss Fusion vs Ceramic — Compared
| Property | Ceramic Coating | SkyGloss Fusion |
|---|---|---|
| Technology | SiO2 layer on top of clearcoat | Resin fusion within clearcoat |
| What it does | Protects surface above paint | Rebuilds and thickens the clearcoat itself |
| Paint prep needed | Full correction — extensive polishing | Minimal — no heavy cutting required |
| Clearcoat thickness | Unchanged or slightly reduced by prep | Increased — clearcoat rebuilt |
| Durability | 3–5 years, degrades from surface down | Permanent — guaranteed never to delaminate |
| Delamination risk | Yes — surface layer can peel if applied poorly | None — fused with the paint |
| Certification required | No | Yes — training & certification mandatory |
| Available in Ranchi | Multiple providers | Only at JH Performance Studio |
The SkyGloss Product Family
SkyGloss is not a single product — it's a system. Each product in the range has a specific role, and we use them in combinations depending on what your car needs:
SkyGloss Fusion — The Foundation
The flagship product. Clearcoat Fusion Technology that permanently rebuilds and thickens the factory clearcoat from within. Comes as two components: Element + Aether, mixed and applied in sequence. Permanent. Guaranteed to never delaminate. Training and certification required.
SkyGloss Resin Film — The Hybrid
A dual-layer system combining the chemical resistance of a coating with the flexibility of a film — 30mL Resin layer + 30mL Film layer applied in sequence. Creates an intelligent barrier that resists harsh chemicals, environmental damage, and micro-marring while self-healing minor scratches. 7-year warranty. Bridges the gap between coating and PPF.
SkyGloss Shine — The Gloss Maximiser
Advanced scratch resistance with deeper gloss clarity and extreme hydrophobic + oleophobic performance. Engineered for durability — a single application delivers lasting brilliance and defense against water, oil, and environmental fallout.
SkyGloss Matte — For Matte Finishes
A high-performance resin coating specifically engineered for matte paint, vinyl wraps, and PPF surfaces. Exceptional UV and heat resistance, superior chemical performance, and helps reduce the appearance of light wash-induced "love marks" on matte finishes.
SkyGloss Seal — Maintenance & Top Coat
An all-in-one maintenance coat and final top coat in one product — 250mL. Applies to wet or dry paint, delivers instant hydrophobic gloss, and doubles as a waterless wash. The perfect ongoing maintenance product after a Fusion base application. Fast. Flexible. Long-lasting.
Which SkyGloss Product Does Your Car Need?
- New car or freshly corrected paint with healthy clearcoat → SkyGloss Shine or Resin Film for immediate protection and gloss
- Paint that has been corrected multiple times, thinning clearcoat → SkyGloss Fusion — rebuild the clearcoat permanently before it's too late
- Matte paint, satin wrap, or matte PPF → SkyGloss Matte — the only product in the range designed for non-gloss surfaces
- Maintaining a car that already has SkyGloss Fusion → SkyGloss Seal — top up hydrophobic performance and gloss between annual services
- Maximum protection — coating + film hybrid → SkyGloss Resin Film for the 7-year warrantied dual-layer system
